The Scottish division of leading provider of partnership housing Lovell remains on track to deliver a significant uplift in the number of new homes it will build in 2018 compared to 2017 as the latest quarterly housing statistics for Scotland are published today (12th June 2018).
Commenting on the latest statistical release, regional managing director for Scotland, Stephen Profili said:
“As we approach the halfway point, Lovell remains on track to achieve a significant uplift in the number of new homes we expect to build in Scotland this year compared to 2017. We are currently building 794 homes over 13 sites across Scotland. We are continuing to see strong demand for new social housing but also for the growing number of new homes we are bringing forward for open market sale. At the same time, construction industry capacity and general availability of human resource in local planning departments continue to be two key constraints on Scotland’s ability to deliver the volume of new homes needed to meet demand.”
